August Argentina Tour

I have had an incredible time this month performing here in Argentina. It is such a beautiful country here with an even more beautiful culture and people. I also had some of the best food and wine of my life! We observed an election and a continued collapse of the economy during our stay, which was honestly hard to see. Also, when we arrived in Córdoba, it was over 90 degrees F. Keep in mind, August is winter in this hemisphere.

It was a privilege to be invited to Argentina to perform and I hope to return soon. Thank you to everyone who made this tour possible.

We premiered many works by living composers:

Gene Pritsker
Emiliano Revert
Dan Cooper (Marymount Manhattan, Fashion Institute of Technology)
Lynn Bechtold

at venues across the country from Buenos Aires to Córdoba:

Conservatorio Superior de Música Ástor Piazzolla
Auditorio Fundación Beethoven
Universidad Nacional de Córdoba
Universidad Provincial de Córdoba
Conservatorio de Música “Felix T. Garzon”

It was such a pleasure to collaborate with incredible colleagues:
Javier Oviedo, saxophone (Western Connecticut)
Eddy Malave, viola (NYU)
Lynn Bechtold, violin
Pablo Vucetich, piano
Laura Ahumada, piano
